I've added my watercolour materials list to this page. You can download the pdf here. I give my students this list before starting classes to set them up for success. It does refer to Australian brands. See images below for the way I set out my colours. I recommend artist quality paint as the pigments will give you MUCH better results, even as a beginner. They last ages - especially if you set them out as you can see in the image below and let them dry. I hope this is helpful. You can read about basic watercolour technique in this blog post.
